Connie A. Jongewaard, APRN, BC

Connie Jongewaard, a veteran nurse-practitioner, has 10 years of experience in dermatology and non-invasive procedures.

At both the University of Hawaii and her alma mater, University of Tennessee, Connie Jongewaard was a part of their education system and held teaching positions. Over the last ten years Mrs. Jongewaard has gained experience in skin care and decided to turn her focus on aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures.

Connie A. Jongewaard is a veteran nurse practitioner and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She graduated with a bachelors of science degree and a Masters of Science in nursing. She was affiliated with Sigma Theta Tau and was a member of the national Honor Society of Nursing. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner; her focus was on family nursing and community health.

Connie Jongewaard is a resident of Orange Park where she lives with her husband. She is currently involved with the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, the Florida Nurses Association, and the Dermatological Nurses Association.

Jongewaard considers her job very gratifying. She loves being able to bring satisfaction to her patients.

Along with injections, Jongewaard also has the ability to use IPL - intense pulsed light. This procedure is a solution for discoloration and skin spots. At the Southside location, she offers laser treatments for hair reduction and at the Ponte Vedra office she sees patients for injections and laser treatments.

Claudette Walker ARNP, FNP-BC

Claudette N. Walker is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Through the University of North Florida (UNF), she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science in Nursing for Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Florida Nurses Association (FNA), Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA), Helping Hands for Lung Cancer, and Northeast Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (NEFLARNP).

Claudette believes that the holistic philosophy of advanced practice nursing involves assisting individuals in achieving an inner sense of well-being, confidence, and self-esteem which are the overall goals of the cosmetic health industry.

"The relationships I developed with the patients while working in the cosmetic health industry was my motivation to become a nurse practitioner. A person’s self-worth and esteem plays an important role in one’s quality of life. As a provider I can assist in guiding those to achieve confidence so that they may walk-about with their heads held high. I am honored to become a member of the Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery practice and look forward to contributing to their prestigious and renowned reputation."
