While Dr. Rumsey is an all-around trained and skilled plastic surgeon, his specialties include cosmetic surgery of the face and body. Namely, he has a special interest in performing abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) surgery, a variety of breast surgeries, and facelifts.
Background
A Tuscaloosa, Alabama native, Dr. Rumsey entered private practice in 1993. The following year, he founded Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. Since its inception, PVPS has grown to include the very best doctors and staff around.
With a philosophy of treating patients with the same respect as he treats his own family, Dr. Rumsey has transformed immeasurable lives throughout his career.
When not touching lives in the office, he loves spending time with his wife and three children at their Ponte Vedra home.

Education and Training
Dr. Rumsey graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1986. Following medical school, he completed seven years of surgical training. At the University of Florida and the University of Tennessee, Dr. Rumsey completed a three-year plastic surgery residency and fellowship.
